Subject: Chrysler 300 problem resolution
Sheri & Bill,
We want to thank each of you and your organizations for you assistance during our problem with our 2005 Chrysler 300. On Monday evening the transmission had "stuck" in park and would not budge.
I have had personal experience working on automobiles in the past and understand that mechanical and electronic system and components sometimes fail when they should not. The difference in these occurrences being ok or horrible is how automakers and dealers help to resolve the problems.
I had tried everything I could think of to get the car drivable in order to take it to the dealership. When I realized on Wednesday evening it was impossible for me to accomplish, on Thursday I called Sheri & Barbara at M & L with my emergency. I needed the car repaired by Friday afternoon. Sheri at Chrysler and Barbara at M & L worked quickly to get our car picked up and repaired. M & L 's tow truck driver, Shane, arrived on time and knew exactly what to do to get the vehicle loaded without problem or damage. We picked up our repaired vehicle on Friday afternoon.
All of these people exhibited a professionalism and helpfulness that I thought had vanished. In addition to getting the problem resolved quickly, they also worked to get the repair and towing covered as a warranty item.
At present we have three Chrysler vehicles and are very pleased with M & L's service department and body shop.
Barbara and Chuck are always pleasant and helpful.
I plan to be a Chrysler and M & L customer for a long time.

I would like to thank Jack and the folks in the Service Department at M&L Motors in Lexington, NC for bailing me out of a bad situation. I have a 2003 Ram 2500 Diesel pickup that had a bad ring and pinion. It has 34,000 miles and the problem started a little before 10,000 miles. After several attempts at Finish Line Dodge in Statesville, NC where I purchased this truck,(I have purchased 3 new trucks in 3 years from this dealership chain) I had almost given up on getting the truck repaired. Finally, I took a chance while driving by M&L Motors to see if a mechanic would ride with me in the truck tell me what the noise was. He immediately said "Ring and pinion!" When I asked if there was anything we could do about it, he said he would fix it under warranty, no problem. They called me today, and said the truck was finished. It was in the shop 1 day! Just who do you think I will shop with when new car fever hits again?

The best dealership I have every encountered and I have purchased over 57 new cars! (6 new cars just from this dealership, including a 97 GTS Viper.) I have moved out of state and still call John Cole, my salesman, to get information on new cars. No other dealership can meet the high standards of M&L Motors.
